Results of Our Recent Survey on the Scapular

Laudate Mariam recently ran a survey on the Scapular, in preparation for the upcoming Feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel on July 16. Thank you to the hundreds customers of Laudate Mariam who answered our recent short survey. We truly appreciate your help!

Our survey had only 1 question: "Do you wear the brown scapular of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel?"

Here are the results:

Scapular of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Survey Results

Based on the survey, about 66% say they wear the Scapular, while 34% say they don't.  We find this quite interesting. While majority did say they wear the scapular, there are still quite a substantial number of people who do not yet wear it. It only shows us that we, at Laudate Mariam, still have a bit of work to do on our part in terms of helping everyone realize the importance of wearing the Scapular.

Personalized St. Benedict Rosary

After all, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel promised to St. Simon Stock way back in 1251 that "Whosoever dies clothed in this Scapular shall not suffer eternal fire." The Scapular is a "sign of salvation". There are many stories of miraculous interventions by Our Lady on behalf of those who wear the Scapular. We will be sharing these stories this coming week.

May the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary bless and protect you and your family!
