The Church teaches clearly that Satan is real—and that he does not cease in his efforts to tempt, confuse, discourage, and quietly draw souls away from God, often targeting not only individuals but entire families. His attacks are rarely dramatic; more often, they come through daily temptations, division, fear, spiritual apathy, and subtle compromises that weaken our love for Christ. For this reason, praying daily for protection against the influence of Satan is essential, especially for the protection of our families. This short yet powerful prayer calls upon Our Lady, Mother of God and Mother of Salvation, to cover us with her holy mantle and guard us from the influence of Satan and his fallen angels. Pray this prayer faithfully every day for yourself and for those you love.
Mother of God, Mother of Salvation,
Cover me with your most holy mantle and protect my family from the influence of Satan and his fallen angels.
Help me to trust in the Divine Mercy of your beloved Son, Jesus Christ, at all times.
Sustain me in my love for Him and never allow me to wander away from The Truth of His teachings no matter how many temptations are placed before me.
